Hello friends.

Another week ends. Lot of things happened.

## NVD

I don't expect anything to change and I don't think they care, but for my own
piece of mind I really can not just silently sit and see this terrible
treatment of vulnerabilities. I wrote another blog post about it [1]. I know,
I should just let it be.

## Examples

I created yet another graph for the curl dashboard [6]: number of stand-alone
examples in the docs/examples directory over time [5]. We are currently at 117
examples. I couldn't resist but also showed a graph over number of graphs over
time [7].

I also kicked off a little project to make sure that we get examples created
that show how to use every singly option to curl_easy_setopt [8]. I'm asking
for volunteers to help me out, but no matter what this is certainly going to
be a task that takes a while until considered complete. Maybe in a future we
can make a "provide a stand-alone example" requirement when someone adds a new
option to this libcurl function.

## curl song

Someone pointed out to me that there is actually a song about curl [4]. A must
listen for curl fans. The lyrics is actually about curl the transfer tool and
no other random "curl".

## websockets

I did my "Doing Websocket with libcurl" webinar [2]. Twice. First on Thursday
on Zoom and then again on Friday over Twitch [3]. The second one had a much
larger audience, both counted in unique watchers as well as in peak.

## user survey

Analyzing and collecting the data from this year's user survey is well in
progress. It takes a significant amount of time and effort to crunch the
numbers, render graphs and scratch my head trying to figure out what the
numbers say and what they don't say and how to present that in a document.

The idea is to have an analysis document completed within the next several
days, and once done setup and arrange for a video presentation of my
conclusions and the highlights from that document. Ideally that presentation
will be done Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
